We have been breeding AKC Chihuahua puppies for quite some time. Our Chihuahua puppies for sale come from Champion lined pedigreed AKC Chihuahuas who are either Champions or have quite a few champions in their pedigrees and the majority are show quality. We breed to meet the AKC Chihuahua standard of 2 to 6 lbs set by the Chihuahua Club of America. Chihuahuas under 2 lbs are very uncommon.

Chihuahuas are tiny so make sure when purchasing one that you are willing to take on the responsibility of a tiny dog, especially if you have children. We are always asked for the "tiny micro mini pocket Chihuahuas" or the "Teacup Chihuahuas", There is no such thing as Tiny toy Teacup Chihuahuas, Micro Mini Chihuahuas, Dollface, Babyface, munchkin, purse Chihuahuas, Micro Teacup Chihuahuas, Pocket micro tiny teacup chihuahus, there is only Toy Chihuahuas. Please educate yourself on the health issues relating to feeding, vaccination and medical care for your new chihuahua puppy.
Buying a Chihuahua from a reputable breeder is by far the best way to go! How do you know you ar buying from a reputable Chihuahua Breeder? make sure they take pride in producing quality Chihuahuas. Tiny Chihuahuas are not cheap! they are a lot of work so anyone selling them for very little money is probably not producing quality, sound Chihuahuas. Buying from any breeder who states they are selling tiny teaup or micro mini pocket Chihuahuas also does not know what they are doing. AKC and the Chihuahua Club of America both agree the Chihuahua is a toy breed of dog. They always suggest not buying from breeders who claim they have tiny teacup micro mini pocket Chihuahuas.
Also, buy from someone who does more for their dogs then just produce puppies like continued eduction on how to better take care of and produce quality chihuahuas, I am in my 4th term at vet tech school and will be obtaining my RVT license within the next 6 months. It has been an extremely hard road these past 2 years but I have learned SO much a lot more then I thought I did. There are breeders out there they state they have studied this and that but googling parasites and reading about them is not studying. Try sitting in a class 6 hours daily with hands on, by teachers who are accredited in their field. Huge difference!
Pay attention to pictures of parents that produce these Chihuahua puppies. If you cannot find parent pictures easily, then find another breeder. There are so many top quality breeders producing top quality AKC registered puppies from Champion pedigrees that there is no need to settle on one who just knows how to take pictures. Also, can you go to their home? or do you have to meet them somewhere else? this is a huge red flag!
